Engineering Project

The project is located in Linjiang Subdistrict, Qiantang District, Hangzhou City, extending from the existing Weijiu Road in the north to the planned Weishiliu Road in the south, with an intersection with Weishilu along the route. The total design length is approximately 1.15 km, with a standard section width of 28 m, and includes one bridge. Specifically, a new Nanxinhe Bridge is being constructed, with its center stake at KO+129.176 and a right deflection angle of 90°. The scope of this design covers the segment from K0+000 (the Weijiu Road intersection) to K1+146.452 (the Weishiliu Road intersection).
The construction drawing design encompasses bridges, roads, drainage systems (stormwater and sewage), landscaping, traffic facilities (signage, road markings, and intelligent transportation systems), electrical engineering (road lighting), and other utility pipelines (such as power lines), with pipeline locations primarily reserved during the comprehensive utility pipeline coordination phase.

The road is designed to run in a north–south direction, starting at the existing Weijiu Road in the north and extending to the planned Weishiliu Road in the south. The alignment features no circular curves; it is a straight line. The total length of the road is approximately 1.15 km, with a standard section width of 28 m, classified as an urban secondary arterial road with a design speed of 40 km/h.

This traffic engineering design is conducted in accordance with the standards for urban secondary arterial roads, with a design speed of V = 40 km/h. The road configuration comprises four lanes in each direction, and the clearances are as follows: roadway clearance ≥ 4.5 m; non-motorized vehicle and pedestrian walkway clearances ≥ 2.5 m. The intelligent transportation system architecture adopted for this project features a two-tier structure—monitoring center and field equipment—and employs signal control at intersections and road segments to manage traffic flow. Specifically, the system includes a signal control system, a surveillance system, an electronic traffic enforcement system, and a right-turn warning system for freight vehicles, among others.
