The spring breeze caresses our faces, and all things awaken from their winter slumber. To commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, trace the red footprints of our past, and better leverage the leading role of Party building, on the morning of March 17, 2024, the Party branch of Phase I of the Fourth Phase of the Hezhuang Relocation Housing Project joined with the Party branch of Xianggong Village in Hezhuang Subdistrict to hold a themed Party Day activity titled “Joint Party Building for Synergy and Mutual Promotion, Collaborating to Usher in a New Chapter.”

First, a delegation of 10 representatives from the Party branches of the co-construction units, filled with profound reverence, traveled by car to the Xiaoshan Yaqian Peasant Movement Memorial Hall—a patriotic education base—to take part in an activity aimed at retracing the revolutionary footsteps. During the event, the participating Party members listened attentively to the guide’s vivid briefing and viewed numerous written materials, photographs, and historical artifacts, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the glorious history of the Yaqian Peasant Movement and the indomitable heroic spirit of the revolutionary martyrs.

Following the tour, Party members convened a special symposium on joint Party-building initiatives in the Party-building Room of Phase I of the Fourth Phase of the Hezhuang Relocation Housing Project. Yu Rongming, Secretary of the Xianggong Village Party Branch, and Wang Jinshui, Secretary of the Project Department’s Party Branch, each presented an overview of their respective Party branches’ Party-building efforts, highlighting their distinctive features and key achievements, as well as their plans for next steps. Subsequently, Party members engaged in face-to-face exchanges and interactions. In addition, the meeting studied and conveyed the spirit of the Two Sessions of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as well as the important remarks delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, along with the guiding principles from relevant work conferences at the provincial, municipal, and district levels. The meeting emphasized the need to ensure thorough and rigorous implementation, effectively translating the spirit of the Two Sessions into concrete momentum and tangible results.

With a fresh start and renewed vigor, we stride forward with heads held high to embark on a new journey. Attendees unanimously expressed their commitment to cherish the hard-won happiness of the present, to inherit and carry forward the revolutionary spirit and glorious traditions of our martyrs, and to take this joint Party-building initiative as an opportunity to better leverage the resource advantages of each Party branch and establish a robust platform for mutual collaboration. In doing so, they pledged to continuously inject new strength and vitality into the development of collaborative Party building, usher in a new chapter, and make even greater contributions.
